Endings Seen | 6/14 |
This is the first time I've played a game like this before.
The first ending I saw was... the bad ending. I didn't even know
there was one. I thought you always won...
Actually, the first game I started I finished after another one
I started later (which I lost). That game went along pretty well,
until I knew too many girls, who kept getting mad that I wasn't taking
them out as much... Gee, it became rather stressful.
Some girls look very scary when they are angry, and they say mean things, too....
uu, scary! Mira isn't scary, because she always looks like that, but...
Then they all lob bombs at me, which is another problem...
When I continued the first game to the end, I won
Megumi's ending. Hm, I thought she was supposed to be the hardest
character to win with... And the whole game seemed to be learning towards
Ayako (but she was pissed at me by the end). Using the same saved game,
I beat the game with three other characters (Yuko, Ayako, Yukari), because
I was pretty popular with almost everyone... but not Shiori or Mira.
It's not as fun if you beat the game that way, but it's a long game,
and I don't have much time... With that same saved game, I think that
Yumi and maybe Mio might be winnable as well... Maybe even Miharu, if I'm
lucky.
If you play the game, don't forget to save after you win somewhere.
If you don't, it won't record your win, and you won't get your new
options in omake mode. Also, it's actually worth seeing the bad ending.
You get a new vocal song and omake option (but feel kind of bad being rejected by everyone).
You also see strange events that you might otherwise not see
(fighting with Yoshio at your side, for example... seeing his
hilarious hissatsuwaza attacks (he has two) is worth it...).
The normal ending (vocal) song is very nice.
The omake parts of the game are also very nice.
Also, I read somewhere on the net that Ayako's swim-class event, due
to a bug, does not appear in the Playstation version of the game.
However, in my first play, (since Ayako liked me for most of it)
I saw the event. Perhaps Konami fixed it for the Best version.
I actually played the first game as me, i.e. did things as I would have done them
(except that I exercised more than I really do).
Interestingly, I won Megumi and Yukari without touching a tennis racket
or involving myself in another sport... I guess it's my natural charm (or
something). The main character of the game looks kind of like me (he should
get a haircut).
