Endings Seen | 5/7 |
Because it's the second version of the game, it's pretty inexpensive, but
still a lot of fun.
The graphics are all hand-drawn and very beautiful!
The characters are all very charming as well.
Almost all the conversations in the game are voiced,
which is also a very nice touch. If you can't read well, this is the game for you.
The music is also very nice. Some of the best tunes are
Enderk's theme, the title song, and the ending song.
The song that you hear most, i.e. the working song, is a
bit annoying, though, but you can turn it off if you want.
PLUS has a few more events, endings, and mini games that the
original version did not. I still can't get the new ending to
appear... I don't know what has to be done, though I have a guess.
The omake mode is great! You can see all the characters and change
their expressions, listen to all the music, play the mini-games
(and get your high-scores recorded), and even see the endings again.
(The best mini-game is probably the puni-smash thing)
PLUS is supposed to have new omake options, but I can't make them appear...
The sequel, Atelier Elie, is out now, but I haven't tried it yet.
I have the Demo version, which is nice, though, but no voices.
Marie's artist is a bit more original than the new one, in my
opinion, but the new art is still very beautiful, like the first game.
Oh well, 5800 yen is a bit pricy, and I haven't quite finished Marie
yet, anyway...
